Cory is our Clinic Director. He graduated with the bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama in 2010 and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Prior to joining Sparks Physical Therapy, Cory was a Physical Therapist at University of Alabama-Birmingham Sports Medicine where he worked directly with coaches and athletes on postoperative rehabilitation as well as injury prevention programs.
Cory has a special interest in postoperative rehabilitation of ACL reconstruction and rotator ruff repairs, as well as prevention of injury in athletes. He has been the team Physical Therapist for Gadsden City High school since 2015. He is an avid outdoorsman as well as a baseball purist when he is not at work. Cory and his wife, Haley, have one daughter, Collins, and one son, Henry. They reside in Gadsden.
