Jay Turk

Jay is one of our staff physical therapists. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 where he played 2 years of football. He graduated with doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023. Prior to joining Sparks Physical Therapy, Jay was a strength class instructor at Marshall Wellness Centers.
Prior to pursuing the path of physical therapy, Jay enjoyed assisting with coaching high school football and caring for exotic livestock at family owned Bama Bucks Steakhouse and Wild Game Restaurant. He currently resides in his hometown of Sardis where he is a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church. When he is not at work, Jay spends his time as an avid outdoorsman, gym enthusiast, backyard game competitor, golfer, and fan of UAB Blazer Athletics.
